It's the 16th of January today, and just
under 10 year's since the fateful accident that robbed the world of one of the
most talented RnB artists to date. Known as simply Aaliyah, her records have
managed to still remain relevant today, and many DJ's including myself will
still play them in clubs & dancehall's all over the world.
So to mark it, Today's post is in tribute to Aaliyah; take some time to enjoy it.
Also like to add today is MLK day, and that Evanston his birthplace is a particularly brilliant place that I happened to visit in 2010. If you want to pay your respects to MLK, I would fully say visit Evanston one day, it is almost as if MLK is still there,
It goes without saying Great people always find a way to leave their mark on the world, and hence why the Aaliyah & MLK are still relevant today!
